Day 4 - Poland Zakopane
It's raining.
We spent most of the day indoors to recover from the accumulated fatigue. We drove from štrbske pleso to zakopane in about 1h30 found campgrounds that were highly recommended and set up for the night. Well almost. We tried to empty our waste water tank (because it was full) except that it didn't go as easily as we thought.
We assumed it was going to be a matter of just stopping on top of the pit, opening the drain valve and voila. But no, it's us, it cannot be that easy. So I park on top of where i thought the valve was, crack open the valve, all goes well, open the valve fully and magic happens, waste water is pouring from 5 different places under the car,none of which is where the pit is. We talk with the camping owner try to figure a way to drain without spreading grey water everywhere but to no avail. It's Sunday, he tries to call his friend who is a mechanic but it's Sunday. We will wait until tomorrow
We park, take a hoooooot shower (the best ever) and head to the nearest restaurant for a well deserved sustentation. I don't know why but we were starving. We order the meat platter for 2. A colossal pile of haram. It was heaven.
The rain kept falling all afternoon so we stayed in and red and drank hot beverages. It was awesome. Tomorrow we will try to explore Zakopane if the weather allows it.
