Day 17 - Bavaria in the rain

Hey Guys,

Apologies for the delay in posting, we were a bit off the 'grid' and now finally catching up in Zurich while staying at Giang's and Steph's place for the night.

So, day 17 - Bavaria in the rain.

As forecasted it is raining and quite heavily, just a perfect weather for relaxing stroll in the city. It started during the night and has not stopped all day for longer than 5 min. We're not sure about what to visit and how to get there, so we went to the tourist info. Grabbed a hiking map and were told we can take the bus to pretty much everywhere. So we headed to the town of Berchtesgaden. Now for those of you who might visit that park they give you a small card when you arrive. This card allows you to take the bus for free. And if you are an idiot like me and forget it you have to pay 3.10 eur per trip..

Anyway we headed there, the town is pretty even in the rain. All those little houses with painted decorations on it were still quite picturesque despite the weather. We've managed to visit couple of churches on the main square and then decided it was time for a lunch break with a beer of course.

We saw this quite nice Bavarian pub/restaurant and went straight in. Guillaume of course picked the sausages and ordered myself a sausage salad as I was curious to see what it will be. And, oh boy, I did not see the thing they brought coming. I assumed that they just cut some sausage and add it into the lettuce, tomatoes, etc., but it was literally a sausage salad. The picture of evidence is below as well.

And that's about it for today. Here are some pictures from our wandering around Berchtesgaden.
